Calculator data stays in your browser

Calculator inputs

Salary, spouse income, tax credits, pension, bonus, overtime and benefit values are processed locally in your browser. They are not added to the page URL.

When you open the Advanced calculator from the Basic calculator, the relevant values are passed through browser navigation state and then cleared from that history entry.

Local preferences

The calculator may store a display preference, such as monthly, bi-weekly or weekly results, in your browser's local storage. This preference does not contain your salary or tax details.

Calculator forms reset when the page is refreshed.

Aggregated analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. Calculator field values are not intentionally included in analytics events.

Technical service data

As with most websites, hosting and network providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as request URLs, IP addresses, browser details and timestamps.
